Roberta Garvin has worked with dozens of startups in a variety of capacities. She led due diligence efforts for two funds run by the Boise Angel Alliance, investigating close to 40 companies. A leader in due diligence and angel investing, she’s been a speaker at Angel Capital Association, Trailhead Boise, and VentureCapital.org events in the Northwest and across the country. Roberta also advises startup companies as a consultant, providing strategic and financial accounting guidance to early-stage ventures.

Roberta combined her MBA from Colorado State and her BS in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to open an engineering and business consulting firm, Ardeth Consulting Engineers. Her firm performs due diligence for angel investors and assists startups in analyzing business decisions from a financial perspective. On the engineering side, Ardeth provides professional engineering services focused on sustainability, energy management and modeling, and facility maintenance.
